Collection: Amanda Holman

Amanda is an emerging artist based in Central West NSW.

After focussing her time on raising a family and having her own Building Design business in the city, Amanda was inspired to take up the paintbrush once again following the completion of a colour and design course in 2014 and a move back to the country.

Moving back to the Orange area, to be closer to her husband’s family, has allowed Amanda more time to observe the beautiful colours and seasonal changes within the natural and rural landscapes.

Since returning to her art and setting up a home studio, Amanda has exhibited in a number of group exhibitions and was the winner of the Cabonne Acquisitive Art Prize in 2021.

Forever in pursuit of depicting the elusive Australian light, Amanda seeks to portray on canvas the jumbled, chaotic forms of the beautiful gum trees whilst capturing the shadowed nooks and crannies in the grasses and coloured earth
